Who we are
Lumora is the trading name of Lumora Recovery Ltd, registered in England and Wales. For data protection purposes we are the data controller. Contact: privacy@lumora.com.
What we collect
- Order data. Name, delivery address, billing address, email, phone number, items purchased. Required to process and ship orders.
- Account data. If you create an account, we store your email and a hashed password.
- Communication data. Messages you send via the contact form or by email.
- Usage data. Standard server logs, anonymous analytics on which pages are visited.
What we do not collect
We do not store payment card details on our servers. Payments are handled by our PCI-compliant payment provider. We do not track you across other sites or use third-party advertising cookies.
How we use it
- Fulfilling your order and dealing with returns or warranty claims.
- Replying to messages you send us.
- Sending order confirmation and shipping update emails (transactional, not marketing).
- Marketing emails only if you have explicitly opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Who we share it with
Only the third parties strictly needed to deliver the service: the courier (for delivery), our payment provider (for payment), our email provider (for order confirmations), and HMRC if required by law. Each is contracted to handle your data securely and only for the agreed purpose.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for seven years for accounting and tax purposes (UK law). Marketing email lists are kept until you unsubscribe. Contact form messages are kept for two years and then deleted.
Your rights
Under UK and EU data protection law you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct any data that is wrong.
- Ask us to delete your data, subject to legal record-keeping requirements.
- Object to processing or restrict how we use your data.
- Receive your data in a portable format.
- Withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time.

Cookies
We use a small set of essential cookies for the shopping basket and checkout to work. We use one analytics cookie to count page views in aggregate. We do not use any advertising or tracking cookies.
Changes to this policy
We update this policy when our practices change. The date at the top of the page reflects the latest version. Material changes are announced by email to active customers.
